Last week I got to spend an afternoon with Tom, Michelle, Rachel and Anna. They won the Lyons Elementary Silent Auction photo session with me. We had great weather and I got so many cute photos I had trouble deciding which were my favorite. Thank you for posing for me - I had a great time. Below is your sneak peak at my favorite pictures.
Today Steve, Sparky and I participated in the Longmont Humane Society Walk for the Animals and Furry Friends festival.
What a beautiful day for a walk. The dog walk is my favorite charity event of the year (Sparky’s too). I love seeing all the dogs and enjoying a great day in Longmont. Pictures are below including the dog agility course and several of the dogs available for adoption at the humane society. Our latest family photo is at the bottom - taken by my dear friend Jennifer.

Lyons Rocks! I must say I live in a cool little town. 2 blocks from our house is an awesome kayak spot - the black bear hole (of course we call it the black dog hole in honor of Sparky dog) Steve and his buddy Shawn were there last week. I snapped this photo as they were leaving.
Lyons is hosting the 6th annual Lyons Outdoor Games on May 30- June 1. Biking, Kayaking, fishing, even a dog agility course. It will be a blast. Definitely plan to attend.

You are invited to a wedding show this Sunday, May 4 at Ciatano Winery in Lyons from noon-4. It should be lovely. Ciatano is just 3 miles west of Lyons on Highway 36. The courtyard area is just gorgeous and there will be 40 vendors set up and a wine tasting. So come enjoy a glass of wine and stop by my table and say hello.

Ciatano Winery is a unique setting nestled in the tranquil mountains just 3 miles west of Lyons on Highway 66 en route to Estes Park.
I was privileged today to meet the beautiful Zurianna Parker. Zuri means beautiful in Swahili. Anna is for her grandmother and her middle name, Parker, is after her other grandmother. She is so adorable and precious in every way.

I was honored to be the featured photographer for the Boulder Chamber this month. I joined the Boulder Chamber for the business education I would receive but it has proven to be more valuable than that. The business connections and friendships I am developing have made my membership one of the best investments I have made.
Last night was the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Cantina Laredo in the 29th Street Mall. The food was fantastic - I can’t wait to bring my husband back for dinner.
The Chamber breakfast was hosted by Staples, also in the 29the Street Mall. The food was catered by Front Range Catering Co.. What a great turn out! The group practically took over the store. Staples was kind enough to give everyone goodie bags as we left (who doesn’t like presents 
Finally, the Chamber social was held at Boulder Broker Inn. Another great turnout.
Photographing the events was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to attending many more. If you are a business owner join the chamber now - you won’t regret it.

I don’t mind the snow. It was beautiful and the weather will be warm before we know it.
I signed up for my first bridal show. It’s in Lyons at Ciatano Winery on May 4 and I am super excited. I am working on some pretty take aways for the brides that visit me at the show. Since one of my goals for the new year is to implement green printing practices I am trying to find paper that is in budget AND eco-friendly. I had to tell you about the company I found - The Paper Mill Store.

They even have a link under projects for wedding invitations showing some fabulous papers, perfect for your wedding invites and programs. There are even templates to help you out with your designs. You can search by color which made it very easy for me to find a lovely light blue paper and a matching envelop. Plus their prices are good.
