Hearts In Your Latte

Filed under: Random Thoughts — Jennifer @ 12:14

My husband, Steve, is becoming quite an accomplished barista. With some instruction from the wonderful folks at Ozo Coffee Co. he has been practicing and I have benefited with some wonderful coffee drinks. This morning he was able to pour his first latte art. I was quite proud :) When you meet me at my studio and the barista is in be prepared for a yummy espresso or coffee drink.

Think Pink Photographey Network

I am proud to announce Jennifer Schumacher Photography is now part of the Think Pink Photographers Network supporting women with Breast Cancer. Cancer has directly affected my family and I am honored to support this great cause.

Through the Think Pink Photography Network we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life through charitable photography sessions. Any individual that has been diagnosed with breast cancer or completed treatment within the past 12 months qualifies for a Think Pink Photography Session. Sessions are available to document the fight before or during treatment or to celebrate the victory when treatment is completed. Clients will receive a complimentary session, 20 4×6 prints from their session, and a 10% discount on any additional purchases from that session.

Over the next month I will also be developing the Think Pink Collection. A portion of the sales from this line will be donated to The Beverly Family Foundation. Watch for previews of the products on the blog!

For more information, you can contact me, or you can visit the Think Pink Photography website at: http://www.thinkpinkphotography.org

ABOUT THINK PINK PHOTOGRAPHY

Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a non-profit organization that serves two main purposes - celebrating life and supporting the cause.

Through our photography network, we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions.

Through donations and various fundraising efforts, all profits from Think Pink Photography will be donated to The Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.

Spring Forward

I love Spring.  Having grown up in the land of perpetual summer (South Florida) I have such an appreciation of the changing seasons and Spring amazes me every year.  After months of looking at trees and bushes I am sure are dead suddenly little green buds begin to appear.  I love to start my day walking through my garden discovering the new growth.  Today I photographed my early blooming tulips and daffodils peaking out of the ground.  I also discovered buds on my mystery lilac.  It didn’t bloom last Spring and I can’t wait to see and smell the blooms for the first time.

My favorite part about being a photographer is being a part of my client’s most important life events. You may recognize Chris and Connie from the wedding portfolio photos on my website. I am proud to announce they are expecting and I got to spend the afternoon photographing Connie’s big belly. I’m looking forward to meeting ‘baby z’ next month. Stay tuned for the pictures.
